Modify the Workers Compensation Rate For a Group of Employees
To modify the workers compensation rate for more than one employee:
- In the Home window on the Maintenance menu, choose Update Employee WCB Rate.
- (Optional) In the Filters section, select one or more of the following filters to display the group of employees you want to update in the list (inactive employees will be displayed as well):
- Province. The province or territory selected in the employee record as the tax table used for that employee.
- Job Category. The job category selected in the employee's record.
- Current Rate. The WCB rates currently used in Sage 50 Accounting.
- In the list, select the boxes next to the employees you want to update. To select all the employees, select the box in the heading above the check boxes.
- In the Rate box, enter the new workers compensation rate and click Apply to apply and save your changes.
- Click Close to close the window.
